A Brief Biography of Matt Alan

"Call me Ishmael. No, don't really, I kid! I kid! I'm Matt Alan, an amateur voice actor by day and a wisecracking crime fighter by night. One evening while goofing off on my microphone, I discovered I could manipulate my voice to produce completely different tones and dialects. Upon further investigation I realized this was some fun stuff."

At the tender age of 15, Matt Alan came across the website of Flava a site devoted to the creation of amateur audio and visual productions. From there, came the VAA, where Matt Alan gained the reputation of a dedicated, reliable voice.

In September 2004, Matt Alan formed the amateur production group Nights!(link) An online group devoted to the ideal of amateur voice actors from around the world giving professional quality performances, free for all to download and enjoy.

Matt Alan is the co-owner of Flava, a prominent member of the VAA, and a much sought-after voice of the Newgrounds Voiceacting Club. Matt Alan is currently a senior in high school, where he is the senior member of his drama club and also active in local theatre. As for pursuing voice acting as a career, no doubt, Matt Alan is definitely interested!

When asked if he has what it takes to become a professional voice actor, Matt replies, "Just Watch Me."
